So if you have a favorite weapon you want to max out you feed all your other equipment to the decayed equipment to get it's level to +99 and then feed THAT to your favorite Equipment.
Meaning both other weapons can be fuzed into it and it can be fuzed into others even if their names are different. However this Equipment can be fuzed with any other equipment of the same weapon type. Rather than Ultimate Equipment Zestria has "decayed equipment" Garbage Equipmant you get at the end of the game with garbage stats that NEVER increase. I don't remember which difficulty I beat it on, but it definitely wasn't Chaos. There are guides saying you have to do it on at least Hard. The achievement for beating Heldalf's super form doesn't list a difficulty, by the way. You gotta line up 7 skills horizontally in the row of whichever element you're using. Sorey fires his partners at Heldalf before that.Įr, you unlocked Heldalf's super form though, didn't you? You're gonna need the skill that lets an element ignore resistances because his first form resists every element. Side-note: Use Rose in the fight because she doesn't have to shoot her seraph partner at Heldalf in his second form until the end. Armatus combines skills, by the way, so you can do like 5 Acqua on Rose and 6 on Mikleo for 11 when they armatize with each other. The equips you use probably don't matter with this method. You can spam Maelstrom on him during his first form. As for equip skills, if you're using water armatus, stack Lindwer 5 times (it caps at 5) for his second form and stack Acqua 11 times for the water damage + cast time reduction skill. I don't know where it's at, but you can look it up. If you just want a braindead method of beating Heldalf, there's supposed to be a safe spot you can hit him from with water armatus during his second form. It didn't matter that its base stats weren't great.
I used Calcite Boots in a build for Edna because I needed the skill in the first slot for a stack bonus. You decide on what stat spread and skills you want and choose the equips that are best suited for it. There's no such thing as "ultimate equips" in Zestiria though. Sorey's the only character with a special weapon.
